Currently lusting: Print and Mint

Get the look: Kim Kardashian
I'm so happy it is finally warm here in Latvia and the sun is out, though there are moody rainy days, but still. I love spring and I'm so happy it is here. I'm currently lusting over different prints and items in mint color. You can try out items in Floral print, Polka dots, Aztec print, Baroque etc. They all look lovely. Wearing prints is so much fun but you have to be careful not to go wrong. You can mix different prints together or to be safe mix one print with a monotone piece. I've seen some lovely items on glamorousuk, nastygal and other websites. if you are interested you can check them out.
I would like to apologize for not posting frequently the last week. I had so much school stuff going on and work as well. I would also like to inform you that I will probably not post the whole of next week due to the fact that I will be away on a business trip. But as soon as I get back, I will have loads of photos so don't forget to check back. You can follow me on twitter for updates while I'm away. (@NiaSky)

What do you think of prints and mint green? What colors are you lusting over this spring?

Get the look: Kim Kardashian Color-Blocking

Get the look: Kim Kardashian

Kim was spotted in a Naven Pop Pink Blazer and Mother the Looker Cropped Skinny Jeans in Tangelo. Her outfit is exceptionally bright and totally right for spring. Kim has great taste and is one of my style icons. She always finds a way to mix and match the right pieces and ends up looking fabulous. I'm sure we all want to look fabulous but not at that price. For this reason, I picked out similar pieces to that of Kim but at a much lower price. The items picked out cost less than $50 each.
Color-Blocking is one of this seasons trends and I'm sure we all want to try it but don't want go wrong with it. Well why not start with copying Kim's style an as soon as you feel you are ready, try putting together an outfit yourself.

What do you think of this outfit? Would you like to try it?

Some things I love from the Dorothy Perkins Sale

Dorothy Perkins sale
I know I have been lacking posts this April, and I would like to apologize for that. I'm just really busy at the moment with school, work and my car not working which means I have to take the bus which takes twice as long.
Anyway, back to what this post if about. I was browsing the internet yesterday and went on one of my favorite stores - Dorothy Perkins. And noticed it was the first day of the Dorothy Perkins Mid-Season Sale. They are giving 50% off a lot of items. But you have to hurry because sizes are limited.

In this post I added some pictures of some items I like. Unfortunately, my wallet doesn't meet my fashion needs so I am looking for some specific items and would not be getting anything this time.

But the sale is awesome and i think everyone should check it out. The terracotta jeans for example cost ₤15.

I also found these lovely black ankle boots yesterday, but by the time I got home to pay for it, it was out of stock. I am actually really sad because they cost ₤10. But oh well, I'll be sure to keep checking out the store from time to time. You should too.

Have you checked out the store? Did you find anything you like?

Wishlist for April

Spring is here and its time to move on to color and be as sunny and bright as the weather is. So, unfortunately, here in Latvia it's not yet full spring as it is in so many different countries. But we are all waiting impatiently for it to be. My wishlist for April most definitely includes way more than 9 pieces but I wanted to share part of it with you.

1 - Colored blazer - At the moment I'm on blazer hype. I'm loving so many different colors of blazers but mostly I'm loving coral, pastel yellow and green blazers. I'm still on my long search for these colors and am hoping to find them this month.

2 – Black Wooden Heel Lace Up Ankle Boots - These black ankle boots from SoYouShoes are essential this spring. Black goes with almost anything; therefore you will be able to wear them with almost any outfit.

3 - Denim Shorts - Denim shorts are a must have for spring and summer. This month I'm loving these denim shorts with lace from Target. Unfortunately, they are out of stock at the moment so I'm hoping to have some free time this month and do a DIY instead.

4 - Pastel Color Block Clutch - While searching for a new clutch to add to my collection, I came across Bank Fashion. I saw this clutch and now I'm totally in love with it. Going to surf this website a bit longer because they ship to Latvia and the shipping cost isn't expensive.

5 - Patent Pastel Platform Heels - I found this lovely pastel heels on AXparis. I love the shade of green; I also love these heels in yellow and light pink.

6 - Maxi Skirt - A maxi skirt for spring and summer is an absolute must. If you don't have one, you have to get one. At the moment, there are about 3 maxi skirts I love and this is one of them. This pink wrap maxi skirt is from River Island

7 - Pastel Wooden Heel Ankle Boots - Nude Boots are sometimes very important. But instead of going for simple nude colored boots, I've decided to go for pastel. These adorable boots are available at Runway Shoes.

8 - Ballet Flats - Ballet flats are probably the most comfortable shoes for spring and summer. For me, they are a must. Usually i used to stock to a more neutral color, but now I'm thinking of adding some color to my flats. Maybe some yellow, green or pink.

9 - Colored jeans - And the final number in this list is a pair or two of colored jeans. I recently got my aqua jeans from Dorothy Perkins. Haven't worn them yet, but so excited to. Also thinking of investing in a pair of pink or coral pair and maybe some other color. Not decided yet. These pair of watermelon super skinny jeans from Desire Clothing look very yummy.

Ok, so maybe most of the pieces presented are some shade of pink. Well, what can I do if I love pink. And from this wishlist you can tell that at the moment I'm loving blazers and chunky heels. Add some chunky jewelry and you are all set. *wink*

What do you think of my wishlist? Which item is your favorite on this list? What items are you loving at the moment?

Nail ideas: Green leopard print

This weekend was a free weekend for me so I decided to clean up the house and give my lil darling Candy a bath. Candy is my lil yorkie, I'm gonna make a post about her soon so you can see how adorable she is. Now Candy smells wonderful and her fur feels so soft you want to cuddle the goodness outta her. Anyway, once Candy had her bath, we thought it would be fun to go search for the peach blazer we have been looking for at our nearest mall. Unfortunately, they didn't have a peach one I liked so we were oh so glummy and decided to get some nail polish.

After looking through all the amazing colors of Orly and Chine glaze nail polish, we decided on getting 3 colors today; one of which was soft pastel green. Getting home, we came up with this leopard print nails.
