Review: Marc Jacobs Honey Eau de Parfum

Hello beauties, I hope you have all been great. Today, I thought we'd talk a bit about perfumes and I've chosen one which I got a few months back. The Marc Jacobs Honey perfume, which my brother gave me for my birthday. I have wanted this perfume ever since it came out and was really excited when I received it.

The Marc Jacobs Honey Eau de Parfum is one which I find a lot of girls love. If you don't like the scent, you might still like the packaging as it is more interesting that a lot of packages I've seen. And it proves that polka dots can be mixed with stripes and it looks fabulous.

Marc Jacobs Honey Eau de Parfum Notes and scent

The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. It is has the whole black and yellow bee-autiful theme going on. It is a mixture of polka dots and stripes and has wings on the body and on the cap of the perfume. It really looks so pretty, which is one thing I love about Marc Jacobs perfumes.

The scent of the perfume is sweet, sassy and energized. It is perfect for warm summer months as it has a fruity floral scent. The Marc Jacobs honey perfume is made up of the following notes:

Top note: Pear, Juicy Mandarin
Mid note: Orange Blossom, Peach Nectar, Apricot, Honeysuckle
Base note: Honey, Golden Vanilla, Smooth Woods

I find that when the perfume is first sprayed, you can clearly smell the more citrus notes. But after a while it dies down and you smell the honey and vanilla. Leaving your skin with a warm feminine golden smell.

I know as with all perfumes, this one isn't for everyone. But if you like sweet smells then I think you should definitely give this a spritz the next time you are at the store.

Overall Summary
Price -  €55.67 - €65 {1.7 oz/ 50ml}.
Likes - sweet feminine smell.
Dislikes - none.
Verdict - Recommended for those who like sweet scents.
Available - Feelunique, Allbeauty.

Have you tried this perfume? What do you think? Which is your favourite Marc Jacobs perfume?

Life Update {June}

Hi beauties! I hope you have all been great. I know some of you are probably wondering why I have been MIA the last month, so I thought I would just put it all together in a post.

Basically, the deal is that I'm moving to Barcelona. Eeek! Yes, exciting isn't it? I sort of always thought we would move away some time as Latvia is just too cold for me, but never thought it would be Spain. But here I am sorting out all my clothes, makeup and other possessions trying to decide what I am taking with me, what I am leaving behind and what I need to chunk in the bin or give away.

So, if you don't see me posting very often, you can probably guess I have my head stuck in a closet.
Also, I've been so busy at work that I sometimes come home so beat I cannot find it in me to sit and work on a post.

I will of course be doing my best to post as often as I can, so stay with me. I will be back to posting constantly once I am all settled in our new home. If there are any posts you'd like me to do related to packing/ moving and stuff, just let me know.

And if you are a beauty or fashion blogger in Barcelona, I'd love for you to tweet me. It would be great to meet up sometime.

Have a fab week everyone!

Playsuit/ Jumpsuit Wishlist

Hello beauties! I hope you have all been great. Recently It's been cold here in Latvia again {weather tends to do that here}, but I am really excited for summer and cannot wait to move and buy lots of new clothes so I was inspired to put together a wishlist of playsuits I'd like.

I'm sure you are also getting a bit dress and playsuit crazy if it's warm and sunny where you live. Sometimes it is just too hot to wear anything else! I've seen a bunch of playsuits I'd love and jumpsuits too, but I had to pick so here are some of them I really liked. I would say some are more for an evening out and others for a casual day.

Nat Floral Key Hole Playsuit in Navy - Floral, floral, floral. Isn't that one of the most popular trends in summer? And yes, I am in love with floral items. They always draw my attention and make me want them. This navy playsuit will be perfect for a casual day out at the beach with sandals or flats, but can also be worn on an evening out with heels and a clutch. I think it is absolutely lovely as it is a combination of different colours.

Xander Pink Chiffon Collar Playsuit -  Now what can be better than an item of clothing which includes the colour pink and a collar? I think this playsuit is so gorgeous and would look great on an evening out. I think the playsuit is made of chiffon which makes it perfect for really hot days.

Camilla Lime Necklace Playsuit - A yellow playsuit is something I've had my eye on for a while. I used to dislike the colour yellow as I thought it didn't look good on me in my teenage days, but now I'm really growing to love it and this yellow playsuit looks like it would suit me perfectly. The playsuit has a necklace attached which makes it almost a complete outfit. I think this will be great for drinks with friends.

Evita Spagetti Strap Floral Print Jumpsuit in White - Now me again with my floral craze. I think this jumpsuit is great for casual wear. It looks really comfortable and is a great design which would look great with white sandals and a bright bag.

Aztec Print Chiffon Top Contrast Playsuit in Black - Aztec is another print which I love. The contrast with the black bottom looks amazing. This playsuit would look great for everyday as well as for an evening out. I can already see it with a bright yellow bag, it would be amazing.

Brandie Satin Jumpsuit in Cream - Having a naturally darker skin tone means white/cream look fabulous on me and one thing I would love to own is a white jumpsuit. Preferably one which is not very see-through. Like a blogger friend said when I wrote on twitter that I'd like a white jumpsuit "you in white??? I think the world would overflow with sexiness!".

What jumpsuits/playsuits are you loving at the moment?
