Review: NV Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen

Hello beauties! I hope you all had a fab weekend. With it being Autumn, I've started using eyeliners a bit more often. And if you know me, you'll know I don't have the slightest idea how to use liquid eyeliner. Somehow, my eyelashes just get in the way and I end up with a big mess. So, my go to products for a cat eye are gel liners and eyeliner pens. This year, I've been opting more for eyeliner pens. I've reviewed the Essence 'Stays no matter what' waterproof eyeliner pen and the Catrice Eyeliner Pen Waterproof prior to this, so you can check them out.

In my previous post about another NV product, the NV Colour Watermelon Chunky Lip Crayon, I told you I have been given the opportunity to work with NV Colour. Another item I chose was the NV Black Cat Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen*.

The packaging of the NV Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen is just like every other eyeliner pen {it looks like a marker} but with matte packaging which I think if sort of the brands thing. I like it because it makes their products look more expensive. I got the product in a jet black shade called Black Cat, but it's also available in 2 other colours. The tip of the product is really sharp making it easy to draw the flick for a cat eye look. The eyeliner pen is very pigmented which I love, because you can achieve the black line without any fuss. I've had mine for about 4 weeks and the colour hasn't drained from it nor has the felt tip become soft.

The stay of this eyeliner pen is great. I've worn mine for a full day out and it was fine when I got back home late at night. Personally, I prefer waterproof eyeliners and mascaras as I'd rather not walk around with racoon eyes because I got in the rain or from all the heat and sweating in the Summer. The NV felt tip eyeliner pen isn't said to be waterproof, but I find it to be great quality in the sense that it doesn't smudge if it comes in contact with flowing water, but it will come off if you rub your eyes while it is wet.

Price wise, the NV felt tip eyeliner pen is more expensive than some of the other drugstore versions I've tried, but I think it's a great product and I'd recommend you give it a try.

Overall Summary
Price - £6.
Likes - pigmented, thin felt point, great staying power.
Dislikes - Pricey for a drugstore eyeliner pen, not waterproof.
Verdict - I would love the other colours.
Available - NV Colour Online.

Have you tried the NV Felt Tip Eyeliner Pens? What is your favourite NV product?
