Recently, I placed another iherb order. I just can't stay away for a long time because they have so many amazing products. The first thing I put in my cart was the Natrol Omega 3-6-9 which I had been taking for a while and was running out. Because I don't eat enough fish, I find taking supplements helps me get the daily dose I need. Next was the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Makeup Sponge because mine was getting to the end of its lifeline and I needed a replacement. This is my favourite beauty tool for applying foundation as it gives me a good natural finish. You can read my full review here.
After getting the essentials, I went for skincare. I've heard everyone talking about Dikinson's Witch Hazel for problem skin and since I was experiencing a bad phase with my skin I decided to finally give it a go. It doesn't smell very well but it's worth it if it helps clear up my skin. Tea tree oil is another product everyone recommends if you have acne, so I popped the Cococare 100% Tea Tree Oil in my cart. While living in Nigeria, I was using the Dudu Osun Black Soap for my skin sometimes and when I saw the Nubian African Black Soap, I wanted to try it out right away.
I have been using natural oils for my hair for years now and Jojoba oil is great for your hair and skin. It is said to be the only oil which closely resembles human sebum, and can therefore be used to trick the skin into thinking it has produced enough oil. It is a non-comedogenic oil so is great for oily acne prone skin. I saw a video a while back where it was implied that using cold pressed jojoba oil as a moisturizer can help regulate the production of sebum and make your skin less oily in the long run. The Hobe Naturals Jojoba Oil fit the criteria and I've been using it as a moisturizer for a few days now. I am unsure how I feel about it for now but after testing it out properly, I'll be sure to let you know what I think.
Have you gotten anything from iherb lately? What are your fave skincare products?
