Review: Mavala Eye-Lite Double Lash

Hi beauties. I hope you are all having a lovely day. It is not sunny, quite cold and foggy here in Latvia, so if you are somewhere sunny, please send us some of that warm energy. I have been contemplating doing this review or not as I do not have before and after photos. But as you can see, I decided to do it and tell you what I think of the product anyway.

A really long time ago, I tried the Beyu Lash Energizer and when I ran out, I wanted to get it once again but it wasn't available so the sales representative suggested I try the Mavala Eye-Lite Double Lash.

Mavala Eye-Lite Double Lash

Growing your lashes with Mavala, Mavala Double lash wand

Size wise, I think the Mavala Eye-Lite Double Lash is much better than similar products which come in a mascara tube, but personally, I did not like that it is a glass bottle. When getting ready in the mornings, I am sometimes in a rush and tend to have things falling from my hands. I have broken quite a few products in plastic packaging that way so imagine what is possible with a glass bottle. But anyway, I have been lucky enough not to break this one {touch wood}.

One thing you definitely cannot escape is the product becoming an icky grey colour as you use it. Because even when you take all your makeup off, sometimes there is still a tiny coat of mascara on your lashes which gets on the wand of the product and then into the bottle. This happens with this type of product irrespective of the brand. Just in this case it is a bit more visible due to the glass bottle.

Technically, this product is supposed to make your lashes longer, denser and stronger. Unfortunately, I cannot say that it really did that for me. One thing I do know it did is tame my eyelashes but I am guessing there is a cheaper alternative for that {If you know any, please let me know}.

I apply this every morning before applying my mascara and to me this has become a vital step in my mascara routine. It seems to give the lashes direction {if that makes sense} as mine sometimes seem to go a bit crazy. And I think it gives them a bit of volume or something because they look so much nicer and my mascara applies so much better.

Overall Summary
Price - £10.80, £11.90.
Likes - It tames the lashes.
Dislikes - Didn't make my lashes grow.
Verdict - Not repurchasing.
Available - Feelunique, BeautyBay

Have you tried this product? What did you think?
