Save a penny, shop on Ebay #1

Hello everybody, I hope you are all doing very well and Monday isn't a crappy day as it sometimes is. Today I thought I would start a series called "Save a penny, shop on ebay" because if you have been reading my blog for a while, you would know I love to save some money wherever I can. And sometimes, the highstreet shops aren't the best places to do that. Don't get me wrong, I love buying things on Asos, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins and many others, but not all the time and not everything.

Yes we all love to splurge on certain things. It could be makeup, skincare, bags, shoes and what not. But somehow I feel that there are just certain things that should be cheaper than they actually are. Here are some of the items I have found for a great price.

Daisy Jumper
I know quite a few people have seen this jumper in some stores and I personally fell in love with it the moment I saw it. But at the time, I was trying to restrain myself from buying anything as I spent a fortune on fixing my car. Then I saw an instagram picture from LydiaRose and decided I have to have it. As I wasn't prepared to spend £15 + shipping on it, I thought I would look for it on ebay.  And here I found it for $13 and free shipping which is less than half the price I have seen for it.

Chunky Chain Link Necklace
Here, I would have to admit that I do not own any type of chunky chain necklace. Imagine that?! And before you call me the worst blogger ever, I have an excuse. I make jewelry in my free time and really wanted to make myself one instead of buying it but just could not find a big enough chain here in Latvia. I looked it up in some stores here and the price was unreal, so I found one here on ebay.

Statement Necklaces
Statement necklaces are a big thing right now. I love seeing how they make someone's outfit so much nicer. Again, I looked at some here in stores and just could not bring myself to purchase them so I found this amazing ebay store where you can get them for about $6. The one in the picture is one of those I really liked but there are tons of other designs. I already have 3 in mind that I want.

Tartan scarf
Now, you may have noticed from the items in stores that tartan {or check as some people call it} is one of the trends for AW13. I personally am not really sure how I would pull off a tartan dress but a great place to start would be a scarf. I think it is much easier as it is harder to go wrong with it if you pair it with black and white. Red is always such a beautiful color to add to neutrals. So here you will find a scarf for $7.06

Festive Jumper
Let me just first say that I do not like the cold one bit! Yes, I get to wear cute jumpers and gorgeous boots but Latvia is just way too cold for me. But anyway, when I saw this jumper I really liked it. The pattern on it makes me think of the festive season and that is the only bit of Autumn and Winter that I like. I also really like the round neck of the sweater as I think it would be great with both a scarf and a collared shirt.

Those are all the things I found in this search, and I am personally tempted to get all of them {I just might}. Let me know what you think about these types of posts, and if you have specific items you want me to show in the next one.

Enjoy your day beauties!
