Hello beauties! Last week was such a busy week for me, so even though it is the second week of March, I thought I would still do a post on by favourite products from February. I've never done one of these posts before but I keep reading them and thought I would finally do one. Hopefully, I'll have these up maybe not every month but every other month. It depends on if there is something different I am loving.
For February, I picked 5 items I am always using and which I love and think are amazing. I have reviewed some of the products so I will include a link to those so you can read all the details about it, other products I will be reviewing in the future.
Lush Dark Angels
Dark Angels is a face and body cleanser from Lush which is made up of ingredients such as Rhassoul Mud, Organic Avocado Oil, Powdered Charcoal, Rosewood Oil and others. It is a great cleanser and exfoliate at the same time because of the charcoal and mud. For oily acne prone skin like mine, the mud absorbs the excess oil produced by the skin while the charcoal helps in fading acne scars. Because the product contains a lot of oils, your face doesn't really feel dry after using this as it might with just a mud mask.
Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub
The Lush bubble gum lip scrub is a product which has received a lot of hype. The smell if wonderful and it gently exfoliates your lips, leaving them chap free. It is a great product to use on a daily basis before applying your lipstick in order to keep your lips. You can read my full review on this product here.
MUA Smokin Palette
This MUA palette contains 3 colours {purple, green & blue} and then all sorts of neutrals. It was one of the items included in my Christmas/ New Years package from the gorgeous Laura of Tease Flutter Pout {Go check out her blog because she is absolutely fab and one of my bbfs!}. I think this is a great everyday palette because of the colour range and the price. I use this almost daily when getting ready for work. Some beige & brown for the eyes, a coloured lipstick & I am ready to go.
Organix Macadamia Oil
This is one of the products I got when starting my hairgrowth journey and I am loving it. It smells amazing and glides on your hair when applying so using just a little is more than enough. Especially for me since I use amla hair oil before this. Macadamia oil is great for the hair as it contains vitamins and other nutrients, tames frizzy hair and provides UV protection.
Real Techniques Buffing Brush
Last week I did a review on the Real Techniques Sam's Picks Brush Set, so stop by and read all about it. From that set, the buffing brush is my absolute favourite. I have been wearing liquid foundation as opposed to the powder foundations I usually use during summer, so this brush is amazing for applying it. It buffs in the foundation evenly and leaves your base looking great. I also found that it doesn't absorb a lot of the product like some foundations do.
What were your favourite items in February?
