5 Product Face Tag/ Challenge

Hello beauties, I've finally filmed my first video where I am actually bare faced and applying my makeup as the video progresses. Honestly, this was some scary stuff for me. I've lived and struggled with acne for a long time now, and even though I feel a lot better about my face after these few years of blogging, I am still a bit self cautious and would normally only leave the house without makeup in the summer when I'm going to the beach, or if I'm just walking the dog a few blocks.

But, I did find it in me to do the 5 product face tag/ challenge and show the world my face without makeup. I felt this is a good place to start as I'm hoping to do some more makeup looks in the near future.

5 Product Face Tag/ Challenge, Video showing you how to do your entire makeup with just 5 products

So here are all the products I used to create this look:

Catrice 3 in 1 Skin Adapting Makeup {020 medium skin}

I got this product recently and was very intrigued to try it out as it is a white cream with micro-encapsulated pigments, and them when you start blending it in it sort of adapts to your skin tone. I will have a full review of this within the next month.

NYX Matte Bronzer {MBB02 Deep}

I've reviewed this bronzer so be sure to check that out. I really love the colour as it isn't orangey like some, it's matte which is great for my oily skin and it blends easily. It is probably my favourite bronzer at this time.

NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil {EP05 Dark Brown}

Filling in eyebrows is a must for me. Sometimes even when I'm going to the beach I'd still fill them in as they frame the face. I love this eyebrow pencil because it's easy to use and take with you. You can read my full review of the NYX auto eyebrow pencil.

Maybelline The Rocket Volum Express Waterproof Mascara

I feel like mascara is one of the most important products. Even though people tell me I have naturally dark and lovely eyelashes, I still always reach for mascara. One of my favourites is the Rocket Volum Mascara by Maybelline. I did a review of the regular version of this a while back, so you can have a read of that because this one is the same but just waterproof.

Essence Lipstick {Wear Berries}

I love essence lipsticks because they are affordable, quite pigmented and moisturizing. I've got only a few of these as I've had to cut down my crazy wondering into the drugstore and buying 3 mascaras just because I feel down. But soon, I'll be able to go back to that regular life and I'll be getting more shades.

Here is a video  of me applying the makeup. Be sure to give it a thumbs up if you liked it and subscribe to my channel.

I found this as a fun challenge because I ended up using my bronzer as an eyeshadow just to add some definition to the crease, and I really liked how it looked. Almost just like applying a matte eyeshadow. It was actually great to see I can actually do my makeup with just 5 products even though I usually use about 9-10 {when I'm not doing eyeshadow and what not}. So packing for a trip should be fairly easy from now on if I have limited space.

Wasn't sure if I was going to tag anyone, but later decided to. So I tag A Beauty Moment, Glambeautys, Raining Cake, Whispers From Angels and Miss Sunshine and Sparkle. I would also like to tag anyone who reads this post and watches the video.

What do you think of this look? Is there any look you'd like to see?
