Hola guapas. I hope you have all been having a fab holiday season. Applying eyeshadow is now becoming part of my everyday routine when I'm going out, and I love me a good drugstore palette. Ever since I found out about Makeup Revolution, I've wanted to try their palettes, lipsticks and basically everything they have because I have read so many reviews and everyone seems to love them. Nothing beats a good quality product at an affordable price.
I've been given the opportunity to try out the Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette Hard Day*, and I was super excited as soon as I got it and took a peek inside.
The product comes in a black concealed palette which opens up to show 18 gorgeous shades ranging from neutrals to deeper grunge colours like purple & dark green. The palette contains both matte and shimmery shades, which I think is absolutely fab because there are some evenings I am feeling sparkly and need a good shimmer eyeshadow. The palette has a mirror which is great because once you've got the palette with you, you don't need to worry about taking a mirror. It also has a sponge applicator brush for applying the eyeshadows.
The eyeshadows in this palette are very pigmented which is amazing as it costs just £6. I used this palette to create my Christmas day look and it was absolutely stunning. There is no major fallout from the eyeshadows in this palette, and they last all day when applied on an eyeshadow base. My favourite shades from the palette are "I May As Well Just", "It's What We Do Best" and "Words Sound Just The Same".
I think this is a must have palette because you can use the matte beige and browns for everyday looks, and at the same time have a great selection to use for a night out.
