Review: NV Aubergine Eyeshadow

Hello beauties. It's almost Friday, and as always I am very excited for the weekend even though mine is probably going to be spent cleaning. But for now, let's talk a bit of makeup.

A while ago I told you I was working with NV Colour and I've reviewed 2 of their products already, both of which were fab: The NV Watermelon Chunky Lip Crayon* and the NV Black Cat Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen*. So be sure to check out those reviews if you like eyeliner pens and lip crayons. Today, I've got a review of one last product which I received from them and it is their NV Aubergine Eyeshadow*.

The NV Aubergine Eyeshadow is a Single eyeshadow pot. It comes in a small round container and has 2 levels. The first level is the eyeshadow itself, and the second level contains a small brush and a mirror. I've actually never seen a small eyeshadow like this contain a mirror and found this very interesting as well as handy for on the go application. The brush is the sponge applicator type which usually comes with small palettes, and my eyeshadows never apply as well with these so I'll probably not be using this.

The Aubergine shade is a grape purple shade with shimmer and can be blended out to a light purple shade or applied directly to your eyeshadow base for a more vibrant nighttime look. I've easily worn this shade during the day by applying it to my crease and then just blending it out a whole lot. Depending on how you use it, the product could be more pigmented or less, which is something I love because the colour is lovely for Autumn and Winter.

As for staying power, I always use an eyeshadow base when applying eyeshadow, and it lasted me all day. It didn't go into the crease or fade entirely like some I've tried do. When using this eyeshadow I didn't notice a lot of fall out which is great because purple cheeks might not be very pretty. So overall, I think it is a fab product and definitely worth a try.

Overall Summary
Price - £5.
Likes - Lovely shade, pigmented and compact.
Dislikes - None atm.
Verdict - I would love other colours.
Available - NV Colour Online.
